Is good content enough to rank?

Post by shaownhasan »

Oh no, my dear. What do you do with the most satisfying articles or videos in your sector, if Google is not able to discover them? You must periodically check that the contents are perfectly accessible by Google & Co. crawlers to avoid the risk of nullifying your efforts to position yourself.

A good internal link structure is an appreciable ingredient to self employed data help bots discover new content more easily. Through the sitemap that you submit during the development of websites or later, you can establish the hierarchy of pages in such a way as to make some more evident – e.g. those of services – or to indicate the frequency of content updates in order to invite spiders to visit the site more often.

Does long-form content rank better than short-form content?
This is a question my clients ask me frequently.

This is often a sensible statement, as a very substantial article allows you to dissect a topic more intensely than the classic 500/600 word homework would. Furthermore, very long articles allow you to introduce numerous variations of long-tail keywords and therefore can be judged as more responsive to the different search formulas on Google.

However, keep in mind that these studies generally come from the other side of the ocean, and no one confirms that the Italian public is interested in pages of 2,000/2,500 words as much as their American cousins.
