The obligation to issue receipts has been in place in Germany since the beginning of 2020 and has been keeping retailers and business people busy in the retail sector ever since. The obligation to issue receipts was introduced in botim database Germany to curb black market trading as much as possible. The obligation to issue receipts is intended to make it more difficult for retailers, restaurateurs and other professional groups who might conceal part of their income to generate that same additional income illegally.
