Here's why and what you should understand:

This is generally a bad idea and goes against Reddit's rules and best practices for privacy and safety.

Reddit's Rules on Personal Information:

Strict Prohibition: Reddit has very clear rules against brazil whatsapp database posting or asking for personally identifiable information (PII) of others. This includes phone numbers, addresses, full names (unless they are public figures with public contact info), and links to private social media profiles.
Doxxing: Sharing someone's private information, even if they give it to you in a public post, can be considered "doxxing" if it leads to harassment or unwanted contact.
Moderation: Subreddit moderators (and Reddit admins) will remove posts or comments that violate this rule, and repeat offenders can face account suspension or bans.
Privacy Concerns:

Your Safety: Sharing your own phone number publicly on Reddit exposes you to potential spam, harassment, scams, or worse.
Others' Safety: Asking others to give you their private phone numbers puts them in an uncomfortable position and exposes them to similar risks.
Trust: Why would a stranger on Reddit give you their private phone number? There's no inherent trust in an anonymous online forum.
Ineffectiveness:

Low Quality: Even if someone were to give you a number, you have no way to verify if it's legitimate, if it belongs to them, or if they genuinely want to be contacted.
Compliance (if for business): If your intent is related to lead generation or business, directly soliciting personal numbers on Reddit without clear consent mechanisms and legitimate business context is highly non-compliant with global data privacy regulations (like GDPR, which might apply if you're engaging with EU citizens, or similar principles in Bangladesh's upcoming DPA).
What to do instead if you need to connect with people in Korea:

Look for relevant subreddits:
r/korea: For general discussions about South Korea.
r/Korean: For learning the Korean language.
r/expats: For discussions by expatriates living in various countries, including South Korea.
Engage in legitimate discussion: Participate in these communities by asking relevant questions, sharing insights, and building genuine rapport.
Move to private messaging (after establishing trust): If you connect with someone in a subreddit and a genuine reason arises for further communication, you can transition to Reddit's private messaging system.
Offer your own contact method (indirectly): Instead of asking for their number, you could say something like, "If you'd like to chat more about X, feel free to send me a private message here on Reddit." If they feel comfortable, they might then offer a different contact method themselves, such as their KakaoTalk ID (a popular messaging app in Korea) or an email address.
Join specific online communities: Look for dedicated forums, Discord servers, or Facebook groups specifically for people interested in Korean culture, language exchange, or other shared interests, where sharing contact info might be more common or explicitly allowed within group rules.
Do NOT post a public request for Korean phone numbers on Reddit. It will likely be removed, and you risk violating Reddit's user agreement. Focus on building genuine connections and respecting privacy.
