Part of pea crops in Tambov region perished due to frost

Deputy Head of Tambov Region, Minister of Agriculture of the Region Alena Sytova visited agricultural enterprises of Tambov Municipal District. As reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, during the working visit they assessed damage and losses to crops from the past frosts. Together with the heads and specialists of the farms, the Deputy Head of the Region inspected the fields with winter and spring crops.

Deputy Head of Tambov Region, Minister of Agriculture of the Region Alena Sytova visited agricultural enterprises of Tambov Municipal District. As reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, during the working visit they assessed damage and losses to crops from the past frosts. Together with the heads and specialists of the farms, the Deputy Head of the Region inspected the fields with winter and spring crops.

"We examined the damage to sunflower and barley crops. Pea crops have been dentist database completely destroyed. Fruit tree flowers have been damaged in the gardens. Farms in the region are currently monitoring the condition of winter and spring crops, and work has begun to document crop losses," the Tambov Region Ministry of Agriculture reported.

The Government of Tambov Oblast is monitoring the situation to assess damage and losses to crops from the recent frosts.
