Customer-centric mobile ordering

Post by ishanijerin1 »

The mobile ordering services offered by the two companies we tried out this time not only eliminate the frustration of having to wait in line, but also create a system that makes ordering and receiving products more comfortable for customers.

With table delivery, McDonald's eliminates the need for customers to move around with their food, which is a norm in fast food restaurants, and allows them more time to relax.

At LaLaport Ebina, customers are provided dentist database with an environment where they can easily order products from multiple categories, eliminating the hassle of having to queue up at the order register for each store, which is a norm in food courts.

In this way, we can see that each store provides services that consider convenience from the customer's perspective.

Towards further improving customer satisfaction
As more and more companies introduce mobile ordering in the future and it becomes commonplace to not have to wait in line at the register when ordering, providing a mobile ordering service that is tailored to the characteristics of your own store, rather than the same specifications as other companies, will lead to high customer satisfaction.

On the other hand, by taking inspiration from the features offered by other companies' mobile ordering services and incorporating them into your own store, you can create a more convenient service for customers.

For example, if McDonald's mobile ordering could introduce the same order customization available at LaLaport Ebina, allowing customers to request things like no pickles, just like they can do at the order register, customers would be able to get items that suit their tastes.

On the other hand, if a table delivery service like McDonald's could be utilized in food courts like LaLaport Ebina, it would be possible to provide customers with a more comfortable experience.

Because mobile ordering is expected to expand in the future, I hope that companies will take inspiration from other companies to provide the best possible services for their own stores, leading to an increase in stores that are more convenient and attractive to customers.
