At the same time, this does not mean that you will not have many subscribers. Maybe you will, but the channel gives you more opportunities to influence this. That’s all. Recently, Zen announced changes to the ranking algorithm for sites that upload content to the feed. Now it takes into account the site's own audience. After that, our traffic from Zen increased. But we have a large site.
This is a bit more complicated. This is not done to throw out small sites, not belgium consumer email list at all. This is necessary so that the amount of traffic we give to the site is not so huge that the site can live only at our expense. Because in this case, a huge number of sites appear that are exclusively engaged in optimizing content for Zen algorithms, maximizing banners and earning money on their site.
There are many such resources. Very inharmonious things happen when a site receives a lot of traffic, gets used to it, and then the traffic drops for some reason, for example, due to a change in the competitive environment within the subject: another big player appeared, let's call it that. To prevent this from happening, we do the following: if the amount of traffic from Zen becomes too large, if it exceeds the amount of direct traffic, if it exceeds the permanent audience of the site, which is the core audience that loves this media, then the amount of traffic begins to decrease, so that it does not happen that 90 or 100% of traffic comes from Zen.
Do small resources still have a chance in Zen, or should they not even waste time connecting their feed?
