In Yandex, the term "retargeting" is used instead of the term "remarketing", although the essence has not changed. The instructions do not mention either of them at all, but use the expression: "Conditions for selecting an audience".

You will need to install a Metrica counter on the site pages, in which goals will be set up (or segments will be created). These are the parameters that will be taken into account when displaying ads. Please note that dynamic remarketing in Yandex ("Audience selection conditions") can only work based on simple goals.

Goals show you the actions of a specific site visitor that interest you. For example:

visited the page with the promotional offer;

added a product with a promotional price to the "Cart";

started placing an order.

Segments show the characteristics of a visitor during a visit to the site. For example:

the path that brought the visitor to the site (social networks, search engine, etc.);

what device the visitor used (PC, tablet or mobile phone), what operating system and browser he used to do it;

basic personal data (gender, age).

A group is automatically formed from visits that match the set goals or segments, to which dynamic remarketing will be directed. All you have to do is refine the interface in Yandex.Direct (link groups to
