Banner advertising

A guest post is similar to an article or review, which are mentioned in point 26. However, you publish it not on your resource, but on a third-party one. The text is written based on the topic of the site where it will be posted. The article must contain a link to the portal.

Guest posts will benefit both webmasters. The first one gets links to his resource, and the second one gets unique text for his project. There are sites that consist entirely of such guest food and beverage email list posts.

Banner advertising

A banner is a graphic image of an advertising nature that is placed on a website. The cost of its placement is affected by the location where it will be located. For example, a publication in the footer will cost less than in the upper part of the site.

The banner can be placed on all pages or selectively (for example, in a section with a similar topic). Or you can publish it only on the main page.

Banner production is the advertiser's responsibility. It is better to order a design from a specialist, who can be found on freelance resources. Banner sizes must comply with standards. The most popular and having a high CTR is the 240 × 400 format.

Banner networks

Above we wrote about placing an ad on a specific site. You can also publish it in a banner network, which includes a large number of online resources. Due to this, you can achieve a wide audience coverage. Advertising in networks is paid for in two ways:

– for clicks (when users go from a banner to your site);

– for 1000 impressions (regardless of clicks on the banner).

Thematic portals

These are large sites whose content is built around a specific topic. For example, there are resources that talk about earning income on the Internet. In this case, the site should have more than 1,000 unique visitors daily. The more, the better.

This type of advertising is sometimes more effective than contextual advertising, since such sites are visited by a truly target audience. But you should not limit yourself to it when placing banners. Thus, among people interested in mobile phones, there may also be your potential clients.
