Google Search Console is causing trouble

Post by rumana777 »

How often does Googlebot visit my pages? This is a question that many website operators are concerned about, particularly if they frequently upload new content. Google Search Console was recently expanded to include statistics that allow webmasters to view information about how Googlebot crawls their pages.

As the SEO Südwest portal reports , some pages are currently rcs data uk displaying numbers that are lower than they actually are. This was originally discovered by the provider of the SEO tool "Screaming Frog" and reported on Twitter . According to Google, a technical problem is currently preventing some visits from being recorded.

At least Google is aware of the problem, so it can be assumed that it will be resolved in the foreseeable future. Other numbers, such as the most common search queries, impressions, and clicks, are apparently not affected - and these are much more relevant for webmasters and SEOs.

The Google Search Console is currently struggling with technical problems elsewhere: the function for re-indexing individual pages, which is popular with webmasters, has not been available for several weeks. Anyone who wants to use it will find a small information banner stating that a solution is being worked on. Anyone who wants to initiate re-indexing of a page must therefore resort to other options, such as updating the XML sitemap.
