Mapp Connect the Dots 2023 Review

Post by Reddi1 »

In the months of March to May, Mapp held the Connect the Dots 2023 event series in Germany, with stops in Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg and Berlin. This series of events was an absolute highlight and thrilled the participants. Did you miss it? Don't worry, in this article we'll tell you about the most important points!

PLATFORM FOR EXCHANGE IN THE INDUSTRY
What is Connect the Dots all about? The idea behind the series of events is to offer industry experts a platform to discuss current topics related to customer experience management and expand their networks in a relaxed after-work atmosphere. Thematically, the focus was on everything that has to do with data in customer experience management. This was not about stiff lectures and boring presentations. No, the focus of Connect the Dots was the exchange between all participants. And that was definitely the highlight of the events!

The Connect the Dots events were designed to offer a unique experience. A fascinating art installation was created to inspire individual interpretations. The high-speed business panels activated the participants and encouraged them to get involved. And the open format created an atmosphere that practically invited people to talk to each other.

FUTURE TOPICS OF THE MARKETING INDUSTRY
The panels discussed exciting topics that are best expressed ecuador phone number data in quotes from the panelists. For example, Ronald Schulz from Telekom MMS emphasized: "Companies measure everything that isn't nailed down. All too often, the question of what the tracking should lead to is neglected. I have to start with my goals!" Here it became clear that analytics and collecting data play an important role, but the strategic orientation and the question of goals must not be neglected.

In his contribution, Jürgen Polterauer from Dialogschmiede got to the heart of the matter when it came to personalization: "You can plan any customer journey however you want, and then someone comes along with a Blackberry." He emphasized the importance of personalized experiences and that online shoppers design their own journey individually. It is important to use the available data to learn what the individual really wants and how they want to experience our channels and communications.

Strategy and the data-driven mindset were also discussed. Anna-Katharina Knarr from trbo emphasized that website operators are often wrong when it comes to which elements actually lead to conversion. They should be guided by the data instead of following their own tastes and preferences. Felix Hartmann from converlytics emphasized that it is crucial to convey to all stakeholders that data helps them and that they have the right access to the data and insights. This is the only way to create a data-driven company.

ENTHUSIASTIC PARTICIPANTS
In total, there were 30 inspiring speeches and around 200 enthusiastic participants at the four stations. It was really impressive to see how the event became a real success. The feedback we received from the visitors made us particularly proud. Helge Langensiepen, Customer Director at Mapp, sums it up: "The highlight for me was ultimately the feedback we received from all participants. It's not like everyone here really noticed everything about the event - but in the end there was at least one thing that everyone remembered positively!"

GOAL IS A GROWING COMMUNITY
And that's not all! Connect the Dots is not just intended to be a one-off series of events, but we want to create a community that will continue to exist and grow beyond spring 2023. We already have some ideas for future formats, such as discussion rounds and webinars.

Connect the Dots 2023 was a great success and we are grateful for the wonderful encounters and conversations we had during the events. It was great to be part of a community that is passionate about Customer Experience Management. We look forward to the coming years and to continuing to grow together.
