The latest report from Monetate, which studies the effectiveness of online marketing actions on a quarterly basis, shows that email marketing is the most effective method for attracting customers, ahead of search engines and social media; a trend that has been consolidated since the previous quarter, when the first study was carried out.
According to Monetate data, the conversion rate of content published via email was 3% during the first quarter of the year, while organic traffic registered 2%, and social media less than 1%.
