Android fanatics: Google Assistant

Post by AsaduzzamanFoysal »

Those who have moved away from Apple are often voracious supporters of Android and the digital assistant Cortana.

But since Microsoft has pulled Cortana from everyday guangdong mobile database Android use, choosing instead to shift to a more subscription-based model, Google Assistant has stepped up for Android users.

Samsung users actually have a built-in digital assistant in Bixby, but Google Assistant generally wins even here. There have been a ton of complaints about the Bixby button being too easy to activate and unavoidable if you happen to own one of the models where it's built into your phone.

Google Assistant combines some of the best features of the other AI assistants on this list into one easy-to-use piece of software. You have the entire internet at your disposal with just a quick question, and you can ask Google to perform internal tasks like checking your storage or setting alarms.

Impressively, it even integrates with some smart home products, like Philips Hue lights, so you can control the ambiance of your home from the palm of your hand.

Of course, Google's lineup isn't limited to just your phone. Google Home users can often be heard shouting out a catchy "OK, Google!" (or their chosen wake word) followed by a request to play a Netflix movie or put the smart speaker on a relaxing playlist.
