Are you also having a hard time keeping up with all the new features and changes on Instagram ? Don't worry, you're not alone.

Instagram announces new things and plans almost weekly, so it's highly recommended that you always stay up todate with what's newso you can be successful on this social network.

To make it easier for you, I have taken care of and selected all the information you need to know for future strategies.

When Instagram introduces new features, it doesn't do it on all accounts at the same time, but always tests them on specific ones. However, it's important to know that unfortunately not all new features are available in Slovenia. More on that later in the article.

News that await us in the second half of the year:

1. Instagram video

Instagram is working to makeReels(currently a short video format of up to 60 seconds)the only video formaton the platform. Starting June 30, Instagram has been testing the idea on select Instagram accounts byconverting all videos to REELS.Creators selected for this testing phase received a notification in their accounts that their video posts would now be shared asReels.

Instagram users will be able to find this content in the Reels tab, and other users will be able to take the audio in these videos for their Reels, like on TikTok.

Photo: How you can save Reels audio and use it when creating a new one, just like on Tik Tok.

PROBLEM: ALL SLOVENIAN IG USERS DO NOT HAVE REELS AVAILABLE YET!!!

Reels are available if you are abroad and certain iPhone users. Personally, I am lucky enough to have this, but I don't have all the features that they have abroad, for example. In Slovenia, we will probably never be able to add music, due to copyright.

Music is the main thing when creating Reels. But we can also use other tools and just upload Reels to Instagram.

You can watch the video workshop to learn how to create video content.

2. New news feed

Instagram is testing a new news feed. I'm one of the lucky testers and I 6231 singapore numberdon't really like it. The background on my newsfeed automatically changedto black.Videos and photos are visible across the entire screen, of course, if they were taken that way.

The goal is apparently to use the Story format for videos and photos :-)

It became similar to Tik Tok!

Instagram has become a lot like Tik Tok!

Soon after testing, famous celebrities Kim Kardashian and Kyle Jenner also spoke out , posting on their Stories that they wanted the old Instagram back and not TikTok.

So they started a wave where everyone posted it and agreed with them.

Instagram immediately reacted and started defending that they just have to follow trends and this is the video. You can watch what he said HERE!

!!BREAKING NEWS: the new news feed has already been removed.

In the past, Kyle Jenner posted about whether anyone else even uses SnapChat , causing the company's shares to fall with just one tweet.

We'll see what happens with Instagram.

3. Instagram Maps

It is becoming very important to note that younger generations are no longer searching for information through Google, but rather on Instagram and TikTok. These two networks are becoming very important for new generations, so don't neglect them. Always add keywords to your descriptions, as well as #hashtags that are related to the post and your business.

Instagram has updated maps again, meaning when you click on a location in a post or Story, users can see other locations near that post as well.

So always add your location to your posts or Stories, as this can help you reach more people.

4. Instagram Subscriptions

As Instagram says, it wants content creators to be able to make a living from creating content, which is why it introduced Instagram Subscriptions. The feature began testing in the US in January. Subscribers to content will receive special badges so creators can quickly identify them.

You will be able to subscribe to (from $0.99 to $99.99 per month):

DM messages

on Reelse and posts

On the homepage, which will be available to content creators.

LET'S HOPE THAT THIS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN SLOVENIA TOO!

5. Selling via DM (direct messages)

You will be able to sell through direct messages while chatting with your followers. Payment will be made via Meta Pay. Businesses will also be able to create payment requests with an item description and price.
