Personal qualities of the CEO
A CEO must have several important personal qualities. Let's look at each of them in more detail.

High level of empathy
The CEO constantly works with people, so he needs to understand employees and be interested in them. If a top manager does not like to interact with his subordinates, then no knowledge and skills will help him. It is necessary to be able to communicate with the team and maintain contact with them. Building a strong and effective team is impossible without empathy and attention to people.

The CEO needs to influence people without making them feel uncomfortable during interactions. This does not mean that the top manager should always be soft, friendly, and ignore the mistakes of the staff. On the contrary, he or she should be able to formulate comments correctly and point out shortcomings when necessary.

A manager needs to have skills in managing relationships with employees, the ability to direct and inspire staff. Even if the CEO is deprived of all his working tools, he must be able to motivate his subordinates.

Pay attention to how the director communicates with people: do employees form an emotional connection when interacting with the manager or is the conversation only business-related? It is important that the top manager shows friendliness and genuine interest in the staff. If a specialist limits himself to organizing formal paper processes, ignoring live communications, then it will be difficult for him to develop the company.
