The Google brand is very fascinating. corporate culture, slides and a start-up mentality in a colorful world that persists despite the company's size. Employees are given 10 percent of their working time for their own projects and achieve a high level of creativity and innovation. These are all things that I would like to experience in a Google Store.
I imagined an adventure playground for adults, in turkey rcs data the typical colorful Google design. But if you look at the photos of the store, you might be a little surprised - or, like me, even disappointed. The store looks clean, with few colorful accents, high-quality furnishings with lots of wood - actually like an Apple Store, but with an attempt to appear sustainable. Google and sustainable? Is it just me that doesn't make these associations? So I google "Since when has Google been sustainable?", and the answer that comes back to me is since 2007. Since 2007, Google has at least been climate-neutral, and a few clicks further I find out about the "Greengler" movement. Google employees who use their free 10 percent of working time for sustainability initiatives, have regular exchanges and anchor the topic in the company with a wide variety of activities. I would like to experience something like that in the Google Store, exchanges with the Greenglers, more empathetic proximity to the company. Especially after Corona, people are longing for more interpersonal interaction - and not digital at that. The timing of the opening is therefore wisely chosen.
