Artificial Intelligence: Is the breakthrough coming now?

Post by bhasan01854 »

Artificial intelligence could soon shape everyday life in larger companies in Germany. Every second company (50 percent) with 100 or more employees is convinced that AI is a key technology for their own competitiveness . 57 percent are somewhat or very open to the technology. Only 6 percent reject AI. However, the use of AI in practice is still lagging behind: just 13 percent of companies already use AI-based applications. A further 15 percent are planning to use it, and 18 percent are currently discussing it in the company.

This is the result of a representative survey russia gambling data conducted by Bitkom Research on behalf of the IT service provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) among 955 companies with 100 or more employees in Germany. "Many companies are delaying the use of new technologies, they are standing on the sidelines and not daring to enter the field. This defensive strategy can make sense, but it is risky when it comes to artificial intelligence: AI is not just a trend, but a crucial building block for the future viability of companies," says Dr. Kay Müller-Jones, Head of Consulting and Services Integration at TCS.

And Lukas Gentemann, Senior Research Consultant at Bitkom Research, emphasizes: "We need to have a broad discussion about the opportunities offered by the use of AI. Germany is strong in AI research, but we need to do an even better job of bringing AI to where it can develop its potential - and especially to medium-sized companies."
