There are two ways to make sure that the goal settings in Yandex.Metrica are working:

Manual check.

After 20 minutes of completing the yahoo email list actions, return to Yandex.Metrica and go to Settings.

Go to the "Filters" section.

Turn off the Do Not Track My Activity service.

Perform the target action.

After some time, check to see if the counter has recorded an event in the Conversions report.

Checking targets using the browser console.

Add "?_ym_debug=1" to the page address in your browser.

Press Ctrl+Shift+J - the console should open.

Perform the target action.

If everything is OK, a message will appear that the data has been transferred to the counter.

There are four main reasons why goals set up in Yandex.Metrica do not work:

The counter is not installed or is installed with errors. Follow these steps:

Log in to Yandex.Metrica.

Click the "Add counter" button.

In the "Counter name" field, enter its name.

In the "Website Address" field, enter the main domain of the resource, excluding the scheme/protocol prefix (http://, https://). You can specify the site path in this field (path in the URL structure), discarding the part of the address before a specific file or page fragment (the "#" symbol). If you leave this part, an error will appear in the input field, and the request parameters passed in the URL (the part of the address after the "?" symbol) will not be taken into account.

To monitor several sites using one counter, fill in the "Additional site addresses" field.

To ensure that the statistics are accurate, enable the option “Accept data only from specified website addresses”.

Enable the "Include subdomains" option to include subdomains of the main and additional resources when filtering.

Set your time zone.

The counter is blocked by other scripts. The fact of blocking is displayed in the browser console. To correct the situation, contact the employee responsible for technical support of the site.

The counter is prevented from working by the AdblockPlus extension. It is most often used for browsers. It blocks the loading and display of ads on resources and in search results.
