How ASUS RT-BE58U Works in the 2.4GHz Band
First, I measured signal strength using NetSpot while connected to the 2.4 GHz band using the Wi-Fi 7 802.11be standard. The other routers I used for this comparison used the Wi-Fi 6 standard. As you can see below, the ASUS RT-BE58U provided slightly lower signal strength in every room of my apartment. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean lower performance.
Using SpeedTest to measure the speed of my 2.4GHz internet connection, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the ASUS RT-BE58U delivered the fastest downloads in every room I measured.

Loading was significantly faster than on the routers macedonia mobile database I compared it to, which shows that upgrading to a Wi-Fi 7 router like the ASUS RT-BE58U may be a good choice.

For the next set of measurements, I used PassMark Performance Test to transfer data between two computers connected to the network. One was the laptop I mentioned earlier, connected via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and the other was a desktop connected to the router via an Ethernet cable. As you can see below, the ASUS RT-BE58U delivered fast download speeds in all rooms.

Boot times were also fast. I especially liked that the ASUS RT-BE58U performed very well in Room 2 , which is separated from the router by two walls that absorb the wireless signal very well.
