You can choose to add a location to your Tweets using the X app for Android or iOS, X, or other mobile apps. For example, to give your Tweets additional context, you can add a general location tag like "SoMa, San Francisco." In select locations, you can also tag your Tweets with the names of specific businesses, landmarks, or other points of interest in X for iOS and Android. These places are provided by Foursquare and Yelp.
If you're using X for Android or iOS, then in addition to a location tag of your choice, Tweets can include your precise location that is, the GPS coordinates of your time of tweeting, which is available through the X API. More on that below.
