However, both the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra have a brighter panel. The latter also has a premium anti-glare coating. Again, this shouldn’t cast a shadow on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is still a flagship panel in its own right.
Since this is one of many Xiaomi phones that they have created for cameras in collaboration with Leica, I honestly don’t want to use any more cliched puns. So let’s just get to the point. The 14 Ultra is a significant improvement on last year’s Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Camera Review
It has four 50MP lenses, namely a wide, 75mm telephoto, 120mm portugal telegram data periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide sensor. Apart from the latter, all the lenses also come with optical image stabilization. Lastly, there is a 32MP selfie camera at the front.

Starting with daylight shots, the phone captures stunning detail and vibrant colors. In fact, you can switch color profiles, choosing between Leica Authentic and Leica Vibrant. Personally, I prefer the latter, as when I want to edit images, I resort to shooting in RAW itself.

Thanks to the 50MP sensors, details are almost always accurate, and HDR works very well. There is also minimal color shift when switching from the main lens to any of the telephoto lenses, which is very much appreciated.
