The Future of Facebook

Zuckerberg is faced with an immensely difficult task. On the one hand, he has to satisfy and keep the basis of his site, the users, but on the other hand, he has to satisfy and keep the basis of his income, the advertising companies. It remains to be seen how Zuckerberg is going to tackle this. However, he does not seem to have a concrete solution yet. His latest major change, the timeline function, ultimately seems to be more to the advantage of the companies (bigger and clearer advertising) than it is to the advantage of the users. They can now make their photos more visible, but few users are happy with the timeline.

The question is what the current sentiment in media attention will mean for the company.
