Open Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windowsthe "SoftwareDistribution" folder and delete it. Windows will recreate the folder the next time you run Windows Update. Restart your computer and check the update page again.

Navigate to C\Windows\System32the folder using Windows Explorer.
Find the wuauclt.exe file in the folder. Once you find it, right-click on it and select Properties.

In the Properties menu, click the Security tab italy telegram data at the top, then click the Advanced button.

Next, in the window that appears, click “Change”.

In the window that appears, enter Administratorsand click the "OK" button.

Click OK again to close the Properties window and open it again once the changes have been applied.

Go to the Security tab again and in the list of users, click Administrators. Then click the Edit button.

In the list of permissions, click Full Control and click OK. Repeat the steps for the SYSTEM account, making sure it has Read and Execute permissions.

Note: If there are no entries, you will need to manually add Administrators and SYSTEM.

Click OK before restarting your computer and checking the Windows Update page.
