Facebook is a gigantic platform, well on its way to world domination . The pursuit of Google has been going on for ages, and the battle for online visitors and advertisers has many dimensions. We see online innovation that we can all benefit from. Or not? The many changes that Facebook has implemented in recent weeks have not all been received positively. Will we like Facebook even more? Or hate it even more?

Growth in usage and users
The changes that Facebook users are subjected to follow each other in rapid succession. New designs, new displays and new functionalities are the order of the day. For example, the entire display of the timeline – the overview of updates from your 'friends' and 'pages' – was recently changed rigorously. You wonder whether users will not rebel against this at some point and express their anger by cancelling their accounts. But no: Facebook continues to grow in users and usage.

Relevance and emotion are the key to success when it comes to social media. The happier georgia phone number list we are with the timeline in our Facebook account, the more active we become. The more we share . And the more Facebook knows about you, the easier it is for advertisers on Facebook to approach you in a targeted manner. The higher the conversion. The better for that advertiser, and the better for Facebook. And the better for you?

In theory, we benefit from it. Facebook is forced by the competition with other social media, including Google+ and Twitter, to innovate and offer us more relevant, more beautiful, better services. So that we integrate Facebook even more into our daily lives. We want to share more and more online with our friends and Facebook is only too happy to facilitate that (regardless of whether we really feel that need to share, or whether it is a need created by Facebook).
