A we're not there yet

Facebook has made further improvements to the app install screen, so that you can decide how you connect to the app. The screen now shows a list of descriptions of the app, the data the app asks for, and images of the app as it will appear on your Timeline. The new screen also shows friends who have installed the app. Some permissions are now optional, and you can now choose not to provide certain information if it is not necessary for the app to function (you can do this by clicking the cross).

If you’ve given an app permission to appear on your Timeline, it will seamlessly update when you use the app germany phone number list You can control what someone sees of your activity on the App Settings page, where you can set your preferences for each app.

But that's not all. In addition to the completely new personal profile, two brand new functionalities were launched yesterday.

Activity log
Facebook introduces Activity log, a private source of information where you can see what you do and share on Facebook, in the present and the past. Here you can delete messages, hide them from your Timeline or remove apps. You can find your Activity Log via the button on your Timeline.

Recommendation bar
Facebook is also introducing a new feature that any website can add (for example in the sidebar) to make it easier for visitors to like articles, see which articles their friends have read, and add an app to the Timeline with articles they are reading.

Will it ever stop? Yet another change from Facebook! But this time something completely different. What do you think, is this new profile an improvement over the previous one? And will it also apply to Facebook pages?
