As of the close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.25%, the Nasdaq rose 1.25%, and the S&P rose 0.38%. The yield on the 10year U. Treasury bond rose 0.159% to close at 4.401%, 14.8 basis points lower than the yield on the twoyear Treasury bond. The VIX index rose 6.37% to 14.69, and Brent crude oil closed down 0.63% to 74.87. Spot gold rose 0.15% yesterday to $2,652.94 an ounce. The US dollar index fell 0.08% yesterday to 106.86.
