Cat6e, although widely used in marketing, is not actually an official standard recognized by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) or any other organization. It's a marketing term that manufacturers use to indicate that their cables are an improvement over the standard Cat6, especially in terms of supported frequencies and anti-interference capabilities.
The fact that Cat6e is not an official standard ivory coast mobile database that we must be careful in evaluating what manufacturers say and understand what it improves upon before using it in our network connections.
Not officially recognized by TIA
In the telecommunications industry , we come across many standards and regulations. However, not all cables sold to consumers follow an officially recognized standard. Cat6e is one of them. It is not officially recognized by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).
Although not official, Cat6e is advertised as being better than regular Cat6, with the following features:
Better performance than standard Cat6
Increased bandwidth, often up to 500MHz
Improved noise protection
These allow Cat6e to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet without having to reduce the cable length to 55 meters.
