Subsidised training, subsidised training, continuous training, free courses, State Foundation for Employment... a lot of terms that we use when we refer to the courses that we have available for you, but do you really know what we are talking about? Are there different types of training? Do you know what they are? How can you access the courses?... We say "mea culpa" for not having managed to be sufficiently clear and we get to work to resolve all your doubts.
What is subsidized training?:
Leaving aside legal, technical or formal details, subsidised training is that which arises from collective bargaining, and which is articulated in sectoral and transversal training programmes at a state level aimed primarily at workers and self-employed workers, which include courses from a catalogue defined by the business and trade union organisations representing each sector. For some years now, companies providing training for employment, such as Grupo Femxa , have been responsible for providing training, always with high quality criteria, and subject to rigorous monitoring and control by the Administration. In other words, these are free courses that you can access without having to notify anyone (not even your company if you are an employee); that is, it is training that you can freely undertake if you meet the access requirements.
At Grupo Femxa we have extensive experience in providing this type of training and we have a very extensive catalogue with courses for workers and the unemployed on a multitude of different topics, both online and in person: office automation, ICT, risk prevention, logistics, languages, etc.
Take a look at our catalogue and find your course! All of them are designed to help you grow professionally, as well as being a great opportunity to improve your CV and thus become the perfect target for all human resources professionals. Without a doubt, a great tool to recycle yourself, be more competitive and achieve new and good job opportunities.
What is subsidized training or training scheduled by companies?:
Subsidised training , now called programmed training, is the training offered by all companies as organising entities, for the continuous training of their employees.
How much money can companies allocate for this type of training? This figure, called training credit , is not decided arbitrarily by each company, but depends on 2 factors :
The average number of employees in the company
The amount that both the company and its employees have contributed for Vocational Training during the previous year.
Thus, any entity that pays Social Security contributions for its employees in this way is entitled to a quota to finance the training programmed by companies for their employees. Therefore, it is the companies that advance the cost of these FUNDAE courses, being able to subsidize and recover this investment in internal training plans, through the social security they pay for their employees, that is, through subsidies in Social Security contributions, provided that the workers successfully complete the training.
It should be noted that if the company does not use this amount during the calendar year, this credit does not accumulate and is lost at the end of December. Only in the case of companies with fewer than 50 employees can they reserve the FUNDAE training credit, not used in one year, and accumulate it in the following two years. This wish must be communicated through the application of the state foundation FUNDAE before July 1. Otherwise, the amount not used at the end of the year will be considered rejected by the companies, and will be lost.
To use this credit, companies have three organizational options, which correspond to the way of managing it on the FUNDAE website, selecting the accesses for:
'Bonificada': The company itself organizes the training of its workers and can provide the training using its own resources or by contracting
'Group of companies': If the constitution of a group of companies is accredited, the training can be organized by any of the companies in the group itself, as in the previous case, but for all the companies that make up the group. In this case, the business group must be accredited by attaching the corresponding documentation in the FUNDAE application.
'Organizer': This is the access for external entities. It will be used to assign the organization and/or delivery of the training to an external entity.
Remember that being an employee gives you the right to receive free training , regardless of whether it is in-person or online, with the aim of improving the company's productivity, recycling and increasing your knowledge or acquiring new skills that will make you an asset within your company.
