As already mentioned, you can only implement the following optimization measures if the operator of the linking site is willing to cooperate. Let's just assume that they are and are happy to implement all your requested changes because they also benefit from the measures – especially the part where we optimize their content!

Before I begin with the explanations, perhaps we should first clarify what I consider a good and a bad backlink. That's actually pretty easy to do: A good backlink brings traffic. An optimized backlink brings more traffic than before. Therefore, all optimization measures are related to the question: How do I get more traffic via an existing backlink? It's that simple! Although, to be honest, the real thing requires a bit more effort.

Optimize the click rate of a backlink
Ideally, the linking URL should contain interesting content (text, images, videos). How can you optimize your backlink here?

Link placement
The first paragraph of an article is (logically) the part that is viewed first and most often. If you want to maximize your backlink's profit, it should naturally be placed here. However, make sure the link to the related content doesn't appear forced or unnatural.

Link design
Start by optimizing your backlink's conversion rate. The on-page area is where your greece phone number data backlink appears. If the text is in black, shouldn't your anchor text also be black? Otherwise, no one will see it.

For a backlink to be clicked, it needs to be eye-catching. To achieve this, you can either use a striking font color, add color to the backlink, or make it bold , italic , or underlined . Of course, you can also combine all of these . How useful or attractive this is depends on the specific situation, topic, and website design.

Another tip is to not simply insert the link into the body of text, but to distinguish it from the rest. This doesn't necessarily have to be a colorful call-to-action button, but a URL link at the end of a paragraph or a short paragraph of its own can work wonders.

Anchor text
The anchor text is the content of the word to which the backlink is placed.

For example: “Hello, my name is Dennis .” Then the anchor text is “Dennis.”

The anchor text should say exactly what the reader expects on the linked page. If the anchor text is "garden chair" and then links to an article about "hand cream," the user will leave the page disappointed. Immediately. In this case, the bounce rate will increase significantly, and user signals would be disastrous. We can only guess at the impact on rankings, but we agree: The effect would be negative.
