Before we get into it in depth, let’s take a look at the theoretical part so that everyone has a chance to know and understand the advantages of the “Backlink Audit Tool”.
What are backlinks?
Backlinks are external links on the website that send users to it .
Let's see with an example what we mean when we talk about Backlinks.
Let's suppose that I have my own website and a third party also has theirs.
So, I publish an article on my blog talking about the best marketing blogs in the Spanish-speaking digital world, which happens to be the topic addressed by the third party I was commenting on, and of course, the website of that “third party” appears on the list with a link that redirects readers to their website.
The link that goes from my site (source website) to it (destination website) is a backlink.
There are no backlinks within the same website even if we are talking about different URLs!

Types of backlinks
Now that we know what backlinks are, let's look at the different types of these links that exist.
There are mainly four types of Backlinks:
Dofollow.
Nofollow.
UGC.
Sponsored.
What is the main difference between them?
When inserting an SEO link to any other website, I have the option to choose four taiwan phone code formats for it: dofollow, nofollow, UGC or sponsored by simply changing the link code.
If I choose “ Dofollow ” this means that what I want to indicate to Google is that I consider this website as relevant to the information I am dealing with and Google will take this into account when positioning the website that gets my backlink.
By placing a “ Nofollow ” link, I simply share information with my users but “close the door” to Google.
In September 2019, Google introduced two new backlink attributes: UGC and Sponsored.
" UGC " is an acronym for User Generated Content.
If I have a comments section on my website, where readers can write (this is user-generated content), the links they put there should be marked with the UGC attribute.
Now, if I put an advertising link in my content that goes to another website, I should put a " Sponsored " attribute to indicate to Google the nature of this link.

The quantity and quality of backlinks tells Google how relevant the domain receiving backlinks is.
