The total amount of payment for Yemelyanov’s overtime work is 3,586.92 rubles.

According to the letter of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation dated September 4, 2018 No. 14-1 / OOG-7353, for labor activity in the period from 22:00 to 06:00, additional payments must be made in the amount of at least 20% of the tariff.
Let's give an example: plumber Demin, on orders from his boss, worked overtime:
08.23 - 2 hours from 23:00 to 01:00;
08.23 - 5 hours from 22:00 to 03:00;

17.08 21.08 31.08
358.69*1.5*2=1,076.07 (358.69*1.5*2) + (358.69*2*3)=3,858.21 298.91*1.5*2=896.73
358.69*2*2=1434.76
Total: 2,331.49
Let us explain the work for 31.08: on this day, out of 4 hours, Demin worked 2 hours at the day rate - from 20:00 to 22:00, and 2 hours at the night rate. Because of this, day and night overtime are paid separately. As a result, Demin's salary is 7265.77 rubles.

Let's give another example where the hours of work are summed up when paying for overtime work. Carpenter Sizov must work at least 40 hours at a rate of 350 rubles per hour. Let's calculate the overtime for the quarter. During the second 3 months, Sizov worked 513 hours, although the norm is 494 hours. This means that the accountant must charge him for 19 hours of overtime. We calculated the generally accepted rate earlier. Now let's calculate the amount of the additional payment:
350*(1.5-1)*2=350 rubles – for the first 2 hours of work;
350*(2-1)*(19-2)=5950 rubles – for the remaining 17 hours.

Piecework payment
When working on a piecework basis, overtime hours are paid quite differently. Let's look at an example of a manufacturing enterprise.
The worker is paid 500 rubles per 1 manufactured product. This rate is relevant when the employee does not fall behind schedule. If the specialist works with overfulfillment of the time plan, payment for his efforts will be made according to the same coefficients (1.5 and 2) depending on the number of parts made during the overtime.
For example, a worker worked 4 hours over the schedule and produced 1 part in the first 2 hours, and another one in the next 2 hours. Based on this, overtime is calculated as follows: 500*1.5*1+500 * 2*1=1750 rubles.
