CUF will offer a full scholarship to the winner of the #ConectaMujeres Bootcamp

The Telefónica Movistar Foundation announced the call for what is 99 acres? applications for the fourth edition of the “Digital Marketing Bootcamp” #ConectaMujeres in Latin America. In this edition, as in previous ones, Continental University of Florida will offer a full scholarship to the winner to study an undergraduate or graduate degree, reaffirming its commitment to education and digital inclusion.
About the program
This program is aimed at women over 18 years of age from Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico who are looking to improve their digital skills, enhance their professional profiles and strengthen their knowledge of digital marketing.
This initiative, organized by the Telefónica Movistar Foundation, has the support of regional partners such as the Continental University of Florida and Wayra; and of important allies such as the Universidad Continental (Peru), the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion of Peru, the Ecuadorian Chamber of Innovation and Technology (CITEC), SENCE, among others.
“According to the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), women entrepreneurs in Latin America face obstacles in accessing training and resources in digital skills, in addition to the challenge of promoting their businesses. In order to address these barriers and provide the necessary tools to stand out in the digital environment, we are promoting this 'Digital Marketing Bootcamp' with a focus on women in the region,” said Berenice González, head of the “Conecta Empleo” program of the Telefónica Movistar Foundation.
For his part, Fabián Espinel, CUF's Director of Employability, commented: “The best projects will be awarded with a full scholarship to study an undergraduate or graduate degree at Continental University of Florida, technological tools and training. Currently, the winner of the 2023 bootcamp is studying a graduate degree at Continental University of Florida.”
Experience of the 2023 bootcamp winner
Our student, Fernanda Espin, was the winner of the latest edition of the Movistar #ConectaMujeres Bootcamp. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Marketing at CUF. She told us about her process and experience during the 2023 Bootcamp: “Communication with the platform flowed wonderfully and the process is very easy to follow. Without a doubt, the Bootcamp marked a before and after in my professional life, in which I went on to overcome my fears and become the winner. Thanks to this Bootcamp, I am now pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Marketing in the United States, in Spanish and online.”
Fernanda also talks about her experience at Continental University of Florida as a scholarship recipient: “Studying at CUF has definitely exceeded my expectations. The synchronous and asynchronous classes fit perfectly with my work activities.”
Stages of the “Digital Marketing Bootcamp” #ConectaMujeres
This program will have two stages: “Training” and “Project Competition”.
In the first stage, participants will receive online training through Fundación Telefónica's “Conecta Empleo” educational platform, and will complement their learning with virtual masterclasses on digital culture, online sales, content design, among others. Upon successful completion of all these activities, they will be awarded a certificate.
For the second stage, participants who have passed the training part will be able to access. In this phase, 120 women (24 per country) will participate in workshops for two weeks with the aim of developing a digital marketing plan for their businesses.
The best projects will be awarded with a FULL SCHOLARSHIP to study an undergraduate or graduate degree at Continental University of Florida, technological tools, training and certificates.
