The development of a marketing mix in the basic 4P model involves solving the following tasks:

simplification of the purchasing procedure for the client;

the need to increase retail outlets;

In this case, the following factors are determined:

product distribution channels;

sales markets;

merchandising;

type of distribution;

logistics;

terms of sale.

Promotional
Within the framework of the 4P marketing mix model, promotion is attracting consumers' attention to a product in a special way and motivating them to buy it. This includes search engine optimization on the Internet, marketing campaigns at points of sale, and PR.

Important tasks that need to be addressed here:

ways to increase the effectiveness of promotion;

the possibility of using alternative methods;

search for other options for advertising the product.

This component of the overall strategy also requires the definition of the following parameters and characteristics:

target audience indicators (loyalty, knowledge and consumption levels);

allocated marketing budget, level of advertising activity;

choosing a promotion strategy between push and pull (motivating intermediaries and end customers, respectively);

the need to participate in marketing activities;

promotion coverage (specific, global);

developed PR strategy;

channels of interaction with the target audience;

marketing campaigns developed for the year to stimulate sales;

advertising placement criteria (when, in what places and at what rates).

The 4P model does not include most internal marketing activities.
