Scrum is a project management method most commonly used in software development. The Scrum Guide is the official guide to the project management method for developers, product owners, managers, and executives, created by its founders Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber. It is designed to help individuals, teams, and organizations create software products through adaptive solutions to complex problems.

Scrum 2020 is the sixth edition. The guide was previously updated in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2017. The subtitle of the current version is “The Complete Guide to Scrum: How to Play the Game.”

According to the founders, scrum has become a bit more normative and simplified. Some outdated elements have been removed, which allowed for a minimalist, effective structure. Thus, a new agile scrum has indonesia email list emerged, and its management has become more compact.

What's new in SCRUM

In 2020, Scrum project management method leaders Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber implemented a number of changes:

We removed complex terminology, shortened and simplified it, thereby making it more accessible;
We united developers, product owners and scrum masters into one team;
Created a new artifact in the form of a goal for the product;
Linked the target and other artifacts;
Self-management, removed three mandatory questions, instead you can use any techniques that help work towards the final goal.
All of the above innovations indicate that Scrum is now a more flexible development methodology.
