Panda Update
The Google Panda update took place in 2011. It included a permanent modification of Google's algorithm for internet positioning and basically changed the way search engine optimization works. Due to the update, poor quality pages were penalized in the ranking. Not only factors such as the external link profile, bounce rate or dwell times were important, but also the evaluation of the quality of the content. While unique and high-quality content has added value for readers and is judged positively, duplicate content and a high density of keywords lead to penalties.

Since the Google Panda update, the expression “ Content is King ” has gained pharmaceuticals email database meaning, as the quality of said content now has a greater influence on SERPs (search engine results pages).

Penguin Update
Google Penguin refers strictly to a series of Google algorithm updates carried out between April 2012 and October 2014 that had a major impact on search engine optimization analysis. The aim was to reduce spam and low-quality links and prevent intentional manipulation of search results. What was done was to develop an algorithm that would expose artificial optimization of web pages (e.g. unusually fast link building, excessive use of keywords, and irrelevant environments in which some links occur). Google prohibits these spam techniques and anyone who does not comply with these rules may face penalties from the search engine.

In the field of search engine optimization, a distinction can be made between:

Brand anchor text or Brand anchor text (brand or target domain in the name)
Money anchor text (contains a Money Keyword)
Compound anchor text or Combined anchor text (combination of Money Keyword and brand)
Non Money Non Brand Anchor text (contains the name of a brand or company and Money Keywords. Many of these word combinations act naturally as combined anchor texts or money keywords, and they reflect the promotional intent of the website administrator, such as through messages like “Continue reading” or “Click here“.)
Backlinks
Backlinks or external links, an essential term in this SEO dictionary, are those that link one web page to another and are important because they have a positive influence on search engine positioning. An external link from a trusted website with a relevant theme (in this regard, Google sets a quality factor) will make search engines see it as a page worthy of reference and, in addition, will increase its TrustRank. The higher this algorithm is, the higher the level of reliability with which Google will classify the links from that web page. The link profile of a page (quantity and quality of the links) is one of the most important positioning factors for Google and other search engines, but also a key point for web positioning.
