Gemma S. Ventín ; Professor at Bureau Veritas Training and Leader-Ambassador of the 2018 Summit on Technological Innovation and Circular Economy.

On June 6, I attended the Summit on Technological Innovation and Circular Economy in Madrid as a Leader-Ambassador of the Advanced Leadership Foundation (ALF) .

From nine in the morning until after seven in the evening, the speakers and lecturers shared their concerns with the audience (among whom were the 300 selected leaders). In a very brief way, and chinese america data limiting the knowledge disseminated, I can highlight some of the numerous ideas presented that open the doors to reflection.

Juan Verde, President of the Advanced Leadership Foundation:
The circular economy is a long-term business opportunity.

José Luis Bonet, President of Incyde and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce: The circular economy is an essential response to a new consumption model.

Bernardo Kliksberg, Advisor to Nations and CSR guru:
We need to revive the debate on goals.

Karma Ura, Minister of Happiness of the United Kingdom of Bhutan:
The combination of technology and good habits must advocate for sustainability.

Ndaba Mandela, President of Africa Rising:
Love is a more human condition than hate.

Christopher Pissarides, Nobel Prize winner in Economics: The circular economy is an investment. Society must demand green jobs.

Finn Kydland, Nobel Prize winner in Economics: In this context, the current economy cannot grow. The scope and magnitude of inequalities is greater between countries than within each nation.

Barack Obama, former President of the United States: Economic development and the environment are two interdependent realities. Progress is the sum of: persistence, audacity, imagination and hope.

Albert Rivera, President of Ciudadanos: The obligation of 21st century politics must be to connect with those who are not connected.

Alzbeta Klein, International Finance Corporation, World Bank:
Technology + innovation + financing = elements of change.

Cristina Garmendia, President of COTEC and former Minister of Science and Innovation of Spain: The challenge must be to work with alliances. And to invest in education and financing, focusing on intangibles, with the aim of creating value networks through regulation.

Rosalía Arteaga, Former President of Ecuador:
To achieve innovation and sustainability, we must first apply common sense to promote ethics and humility.
