In B2C, a dialogue is established with individual consumers, while in B2B ecommerce, you will be dealing with other professionals in the sector, so the discourse and sales strategies will be radically different.
Promotions
While B2C offers and promotions are associated with specific dates or events, B2B offers are a sign of trust and collaboration between both parties.
Conversion rate
In addition to having a longer, more complex and, obviously, more expensive sales process, the conversion rate of a B2B ecommerce is much lower than that of a B2C.
Of course, the benefit is considerably greater.
Prices
While in business to consumer projects the rates are perfectly defined, in business to business this is not the case.
This is because rates and promotions are based largely on the relationship between the two parties and the skills of their sales teams.
Examples of B2B companies in e-commerce to take as an example
There are many B2B companies in ecommerce, although the number drops a little if you stop to look for those that do it successfully.
However, there are still a lot of them, so I had to choose the three that I liked the most:
Masaltos.com
Sucralin
We Are Knitters
1.- Masaltos.com, a high-end business
We start with this company from León that has more than 25 years of experience behind it and that has managed to take its product, men's shoes with lifts, to the next level.
Why does he lead this trio?
For its eAwards Special Jury Award for its career in “International Ecommerce” which it received in 2016 and for having received the award for the 'Best ecommerce Brand' at the eAwards 2019.
2.- Sucralín, the sweetness of success
This young Spanish company specialises in the manufacture and distribution of sweeteners suitable for diabetics, which is undoubtedly a real innovation.
They sell themselves as “the new generation of sweeteners,” which suits them perfectly.
In their case, they do not have their own online store, as they have decided to rely on third-party stores - such as platforms focused on health and wellness products and others that include pharmacy products - and, at least for the moment, it cannot be said that their bet is going wrong.
3.- We Are Knitters, the wool flows gold
This company, also Spanish and specialized in wool and kits to learn how to knit, is the last of the three success stories that I bring you.
Using the now defunct DaWanda marketplace, it managed to establ dubai filipino whatsapp group ish itself in a number of markets, including Argentina and Spain.
The figures revealed years ago by its CEO , María José Marín, speak for themselves: in 2012 they sold 4,000 wool kits, in 2013 they had already reached 12,000 kits and in the first 9 months of 2014 they had already managed to triple that figure.
Their growth has been meteoric and in 2017 they closed the year with a turnover of 6.7 million.
These are just some of the Spanish companies that have caught my attention for their good work, but there are many more examples that you can find.
